Ellies Surprise Flash

Note to Teresa: This is a reminder to that you have my Flash project, this is because it would not upload it to the blog, thank you

My concept for this project was to create a rapid display of a sequence of an image of 2D artwork or model positions in order to create an illusion of movement of the figures expression. My objective was to encourage users to interact with the image by using just the roll of the computer mouse to create sudden movement of the image. I stared the process from creating my figures within Flash. To create the illusion of movement, I created a my first 2D cartoon figure of a young girl holding a flower with a sad expression on her face and body language then quickly replaced it with my second figure and changed the young girls expression of her face and her body movements into a happy state where she is jumping upwards and throwing the flower into the air. The moving of the image is because of shifting the location of an object and complex transformations of object properties such as size, shape and shadows. Although this was my frist time using Flash I became comfortable and had a good understanding of using this program from my past experience of other applications. My comfort with the technologies with working with Flash would be at level 3 of good knowledge. I used my knowledge and understanding of the techniques and tools within Flash and applied them to creating a illusion of movement and an interaction between the user and 2D image.
